Pity On Me

A foolish girl! ---a three-word that I described myself awhile ago. I was so clumsy and I don't even make the order of my sister correctly. We argue each other. She keeps on shouting. I can't breathe freely and it’s like I'm in prison. I'm so hungry now. It's already 10:20 p.m. I didn't take dinner because I had a bad feeling. I don't care if I didn't eat because I'm used to it. I have to go to sleep. There's a class tomorrow and I better wake up early now.
Thanks to our computer teacher because I learned this blog. I can make this as my diary. I can write what I feel, my experiences, my ideas and many more I want to put here as long as I feel good at it. I feel free here so I will put some blogs next time that is interesting.
Good night people! I have to go to bed. J

Just Be True To Who You Are

People nowadays are going to like foreign movies especially the shows. One of the developments in Philippine television was the evolution of the foreign shows which were dubbed and translated in Filipino. Because of the different genres, forms and modes of the foreign shows, it makes the Filipino people interested and the popularity gained all over the country. There are already hundreds of foreign shows televised by different networks. These shows obviously receive an appreciation from their Filipino viewers. Recently, Philippine networks started to reproduce foreign shows and made their own versions such as Pinoy Big Brother.

Pinoy Big Brother, also known as PBB, is the Philippine version of the reality show Big Brother which was originated in Netherlands. Pinoy Big Brother uses the tagline "Teleserye ng totoong buhay." or "Soap Opera of real life”. It is shown on ABS-CBN Channel 2 and international partner, The Filipino Channel, with parts shown on local partner, Studio 23. The entire 24/7 version of the series can also be seen on the internet through streaming video and a particular cable channel provided by ABS-CBN-owned cable TV, SkyCable.
There are twelve Philippine residents or more and chosen foreign people around the world are forced to live with each other inside a house for about 3 months or at least 100 days. The contestants are called as housemates. They meet other faces and used to be who they are. Indispensable elements of the show are usually present such as the daily and weekly challenges. There is only one voice known only as “Big Brother” but sometimes referred to as “Kuya”. He is the one which the housemates should follow the rules and obligations of the house. He is the owner of the house. At the start of the elimination procedure, the housemates vote for which two fellow housemates they should eliminate. Once these nominations are chosen, the viewer votes come into play. The viewers are asked to vote for whoever they wanted to stay longer in the house or evict through SMS or on the internet. The housemate whom will get the least number of votes is eliminated.  In the final week of the show, the housemate with the most viewer votes will win the grand prize package including the house and lot, a car, a business franchise, home appliances, a holiday and is given the title as Big Winner.
Filipino producers are like to replicate shows but they must tend to expand their originality. Filipino viewers have been greatly entertained by this show because of its great impacts and implications on the viewers and on the society. Sometimes, it can affect through their lives. Pinoy Big Brother is one of the reality shows that the contestants must show who they really are. I realized that it is enough for being yourself because you may know who will stay by your side and who will leave for they cannot accept you. Don’t chase for the grand prize but you show the true colors of yours. Don’t try to be like anyone else: Be yourself. There isn’t any best way to be.
