“Electricity is actually made up of extremely tiny particles called electrons that you cannot see with the naked eye unless you have been drinking.”
~Dave Barry ~
7 Ways to Conserve Electricity
1. Turn off your television,
video, hifi, play station, and other entertainment devices when they are not
being used.
2. Do not leave your television
etc in standby mode.
3. Replace all of your inefficient incandescent light bulbs
with energy efficient CFL bulbs..
4. Hang your clothes out to dry rather than using an electric
tumble dryer.
5. Purchase energy
efficient white goods (washing machines, tumble driers, fridges etc). 6.
Fold clothes straight out of the tumble drier while they are still warm to save
on ironing.
7. In the summer,
use ceiling fans on a fast setting instead of air conditioning to
keep cool.

The Importance of Electricity
Electricity is important to the
world because almost everything was functioned by electricity. Fans, light
bulbs, televisions, ovens, air-conditioners and other appliances cannot
function without electricity. Electricity really has been a part of our lives
and life would be so hard without it. It is the fundamental feature of all
matter which holds together the molecules and atoms of all substances.
